Made from certified compostable bioplastics, the bags are made from renewable resources and safely turn into healthy compost in just 12 weeks. They can also be discarded within domestic food-waste bins. The bags ultimately turn into carbon dioxide, water, and non-toxic raw materials.

Of course, the most sustainable solution of all is to bring your own reusable canvas or cotton carry bags and we encourage you to do so. We all understand that reusable shopping bags are more environmentally responsible than disposable paper bags or plastic bags.
It is an unfortunate fact and a commercial reality however that retail stores must offer disposable carry bags of some type or other, and by choosing starch-based 100% compostable bags, we are making the best choice for the environment.
